FLAG edition Hunterdon helmets from George Morris
One of the exclusive George Morris Pegasus Hunterdon models will sport the American flag for the US market. It will be available worldwide. Other countries will have the option of having their flag marking their version of this luxury pro model riding helmet. I think that this is a really cool thing.

Day One! The hottest new helmets from Pegasus and George Morris make all this cold seem like summer!

Well, maybe not. But, as I sit in my south Florida home in the middle of horse country...I realize that a high of 38 is really not fun. It is why I left the northeast. But, enough about the weather. The new PEGASUS riding helmets are really light years ahead of the pack. Lighter, sleeker, slimmer, trimmer and just plain better looking than the bulky, top heavy (makes you look like a mushroom head) helmets that even the top riders are wearing.
George Morris himself has decided to endorse the luxury models based on the same architecture of these amazing new helmets. Pegasus helmets are a result of the designer's lifelong experience in riding. Mr. Ron Friedson has developed saddles, polo helmets, and boots. He grew up on and still lives on the Westport,CT riding facility where his father taught riding to top riders that won at Madison Square Garden, and to handicapped riders (albeit for free) -one blind girl actually placed 2nd over an outside course at a local 4H show...when the judges found out she was blind, they awarded her an additional trophy as she had competed in three other classes and placed in two of them-.
Ron began designing riding equipment for the Friedson Family owned tack shop (The Tack Room) in Westport. Their unique location saw some of the best riders anywhere - all of whom were interested in any product that might give them an edge. Ron studied under a german born saddle maker and built his first saddle at the age of 12. He has designed and improved upon designs of boots, saddles, tack, and riding helmets for years. The Pegasus helmets are evidence of his unique perspective and understanding of english riding.
Several design features make the Pegasus helmets superior in so many ways. Probably the most important is the fact that Pegasus actually casts individual molds for every size - even specific molds for kid's sizes!. That differs greatly from even the most expensive brands that use only 4 or 5 molds and simply pad the shell to fit the smaller sizes. It is why riders often look as if they are wearing a helmet that is simply too large for them.
Next, Pegasus uses a patent pending harness design that is far more comfortable, less intrusive and looks far more professional than other manufacturer's current designs.
Pegasus helmets are also fully certified in the US and EU.
As this reporter understands it, they will be on store shelves in April and the luxury George Morris Hunterdon models will be available in the summer.
